About · Leadership

Founder-owned. Operator-led.

Cannon & Co is 100% solely owned by its founder — in the field and in the books, with no layers between decision and execution. Two people run the group: one who owns and builds it, and one who keeps it running every day.

Terrell Cannon

Terrell Cannon of Saginaw, Michigan founded Cannon & Co and owns every entity in the group outright. As CEO he leads construction, development, and the build-out of each new venture — from the first quote to the certificate of occupancy.

Before building the group, Terrell spent 10 years in engineering and automation — a background that shapes how Cannon & Co is run: documented systems, measured processes, and businesses designed to operate without a founder in the room.

A licensed Michigan builder (#262500575), he built the group on a simple idea: own the trades, build the spaces, then run the businesses inside them. Every café, classroom, home, and rental in the portfolio comes through his crew first.

Chief Operating Officer

Kade Lookebill

Kade Lookebill of Swan Creek, Michigan runs day-to-day operations across the portfolio — keeping crews, schedules, and systems moving on every entity in the group.

His job is to make sure the group runs on systems, not heroics: documented processes, clear roles, and a cadence that lets each venture be handed to a manager and run without the founder in the room.

How we run it

Designed to run on systems, not heroics.

01

Vertical integration

Construction, fit-out, and operations live under one roof. Margin that would go to outside vendors stays inside the group.

02

Cost discipline

Owning the build means owning the cost. Projects are scoped tight and self-performed wherever it lowers the basis.

03

Systems-first

Documented processes and clear roles mean each venture can be handed to a manager and run without the founder in the room.

04

Diversified cash flow

Construction, recurring consumer revenue, rentals, and owned real estate balance each other through any single market's cycle.
